Golf The Loon

Since its debut in 1994, The Loon has been referred to as the "player's" golf course in Gaylord. This Mike Husby designed golf course has become one of the most popular 18 hole championship courses in Northern Michigan because of its playability and the variety offered by four sets of tees that suit every level of play.

This gently rolling, expertly bunkered course was named one of the country's 100 most user-friendly golf courses by Golf for Women Magazine. A full service clubhouse, pro shop, dining and spacious practice facility await you, as does the famed 18th hole, perhaps one of the best finishing holes in Northern Michigan. Located just 5 miles south of downtown Gaylord.

Dine At The Looney Bin

The Looney Bin is located in the club house at The Loon Golf Club. Great selection of unique wraps on the lunch menu. A very popular " Walleye Fridays" and theme dinners every other Saturday thru the summer golf season. The Looney Bin is an excellent location for those special events. The dining room overlooks the golf course and its fountains. Seats up to 100 guests comfortably, with the large outdoors deck to accommodate a few more.
